ABB visits CIIE six times to showcase global innovative technology

More than 50 innovative exhibits are showcased, with multiple new products making their global and Chinese debut

We plan to sign multiple strategic cooperation agreements and work together with all parties to accelerate the digitalization process and green transformation

On November 5th, the 6th China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai. ABB will participate in this international event for the sixth consecutive time, with the theme of "Ideal Partner for Sustainable Development", showcasing more than 50 innovative products and technologies in the three major fields of smart energy, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent transportation, and smart cities, including new generation collaborative robots, full new high voltage air circuit breakers, gas insulated ring main units, intelligent DC charging piles, high-efficiency motors, frequency converters, and ABB cloud drives, as well as a series of automation solutions for process industries, hybrid and maritime industries. ABB will also launch new measurement products, intelligent electrical products, and intelligent manufacturing solutions for the steel and non-ferrous metal industries. ABB's innovative achievements from around the world will be gathered at the CIIE booth.

Accelerate intelligent manufacturing and industrial digital transformation

Data and its transmission are important driving forces for industrial digital transformation. The emergence of Ethernet Advanced Physical Layer (Ethernet APL) technology has enabled digital factories to "fly into ordinary people's homes", achieving "one network connectivity" from the management layer, operation layer, to the on-site instrument and equipment layer. At this year's CIIE, ABB will globally launch a new generation of measurement products equipped with advanced physical layer technology for Ethernet. With the help of Ethernet PL technology, measuring instruments can be seamlessly integrated into factory Ethernet, achieving safe deployment in hazardous areas, stable and reliable long-distance transmission, and bridging the "last mile" of information exchange between on-site and operational management, providing a solid data foundation for intelligent management throughout the entire process.

ABB will also integrate Ethernet APL technology into its distributed control system to provide seamless communication between industrial users and the field. This technology will be deployed first at BASF's integrated base in Zhanjiang, China. At the CIIE booth, ABB will showcase process automation products and solutions that integrate APL technology from multiple perspectives.

Human robot collaboration is an important trend in the development of industrial robots. ABB will showcase two advanced collaborative robot units, including GoFa ™ The education unit is a supporting practical equipment for ABB's latest robot teaching function package, designed specifically for teaching and training. It combines comprehensive hardware settings with globally certified STEM training courses to guide new directions for robot teaching and automation education; The new generation collaborative robot GoFa 12. applied in the GoFa blind box workstation, has a load of 12kg, a working radius of 1.37m, and a running speed of 2.2m/s. All six joints are equipped with torque sensors, which have outstanding power and force limiting performance, allowing it to complete more tasks faster and ensure the safety of operators.

In addition, ABB will also present its intelligent manufacturing solutions developed for the steel and non-ferrous metal industries at this year's CIIE. This solution integrates basic process automation solutions, intelligent centralized control operation platforms, and big data analysis platforms, which can help customers improve their manufacturing processes using ABB's expertise and advanced technology. This cutting-edge solution will help optimize the operational efficiency, productivity, safety, and reliability of steel manufacturers.

Promote energy transformation and energy conservation and efficiency improvement

At this year's CIIE, ABB will bring a rich range of electrical products and solutions focused on green energy, green industry, green data centers, and green buildings, including the new Emax 2/E high-voltage air circuit breaker, Safe 40.5kV gas insulated ring main unit and compact switchgear, ABB building optical storage direct flexible, digital energy efficiency and asset health management, intelligent building and other solutions, smart energy optimization system, etc. ABB will also release two new products to the Chinese market: Lmax-T intelligent data center bus duct and UniSafe Digital medium voltage authorization cabinet digital solution, empowering a low-carbon future with innovative electrical technology. Among them, the Lmax-T sliding rail data center cabinet distribution bus duct is an upgraded solution for traditional precision column head cabinet distribution. Efficient motors and frequency converters have broad prospects in energy conservation, efficiency improvement, and emission reduction in industry and other fields. ABB will showcase a wide range of energy-saving and efficient products and solutions, including the ACH580-31 ultra-low harmonic series frequency converter, a permanent magnet frequency converter integrated machine with a system energy saving of up to 60%, a shaft generator using patented permanent magnet technology, a series of flexible and expandable PLC and servo products, as well as ABB Cloud Drive, fully supporting users in achieving energy-saving, efficiency increasing, and carbon reduction goals. Fast and convenient charging infrastructure is an important guarantee for green travel. After showcasing the 480kW liquid cooled high-power charging pile last year, ABB will showcase the Terra CA II safe and intelligent DC charging pile in person at this year's CIIE. It is suitable for centralized charging stations and high-end building facilities, and can efficiently meet diverse charging needs such as electric taxis, electric logistics vehicles, and electric buses. Its efficient empowerment function ranges from 300-1000V, which can efficiently meet the charging needs of current and future electric vehicles, and contribute to accelerating the construction of China's future oriented, green and low-carbon electric transportation system.

The zero emission shipping industry is an important component of building a green transportation system.
