AB CENTERLINE® 2100/2400 Series Motor Control Centres
General Product Description: The CENTERLINE® 2100/2400 Series MCCs are Rockwell Automation products. The 2100 Series meets NEMA/EEMAC standards, and the 2400 Series meets IEC standards for a wide range of industrial applications to meet all types of motor control needs.
Cabinet Construction
Cabinet size and protection level: Cabinet size is rich in specifications, with 15‘’ (381mm), 20‘’ (508mm) and other options for width, and different combinations of height and depth. Various protection levels, such as IP40 for NEMA TYPE 1, IP54 for NEMA TYPE 12, etc., can be adapted to different operating environments.
Wireway and busbar design: The wireway is well-designed, with different widths available, and has crossing channels and removable covers. The power busbar can be made of aluminium or copper, with good heat dissipation and electrical performance. The horizontal busbar can be installed in a location that is conducive to heat dissipation and anti-electromagnetic interference, and the vertical busbar can provide phase-to-phase isolation.
Grounding and neutral busbar: The ground wire is made of bare copper or galvanised, and the vertical ground busbar ensures that the drawer unit is always grounded when it is plugged in and out to ensure personal safety. Some cabinets are equipped with neutral busbar to meet specific electrical system requirements.
DeviceNet connection: Support DeviceNet communication, provide a variety of connection methods and parameters to ensure reliable communication and facilitate equipment integration and management.
Feeder unit and metering unit
Inlet unit: Various types of inlets are available, including main bus only (MLO), main fuse disconnect (MFD) and main circuit breaker (MCB), with rated currents ranging from 300A to 3000A, and equipped with corresponding protection devices and visual knife gates.
Metering unit: Equipped with PM1403, PM3000 and other metering devices, supporting RIO, DeviceNet, RS485 and other communication modes, it can realise the monitoring of power parameters and data transmission.
Control unit technical description
Unit installation and power plug: The drawer unit is easy to install and can be flexibly combined. The power plug design ensures reliable electrical connection, and different specifications of drawer unit adopt different power plug configurations.
Operation handle: The operation handle is easy to operate, with clear indication of the switching status, and some of the handles are also equipped with interlocking function to prevent misoperation.
Control unit under NEMA/EEMAC standard: Under NEMA/EEMAC standard, the control unit has many kinds of component configurations, and there are detailed regulations on the installation, wiring and labelling of electrical components.
IEC standard control units: IEC standard control units also have complete control functions and meet the requirements of the IEC standard in terms of component selection and wiring.
Characteristics of different types of control units
Switching control: Various types of switches, such as J, R, H, L, etc., are provided to meet different loads and control requirements, with high breaking capacity to ensure safe circuit breakage.
Motor Starting Control: For different types of motors, various starting control methods are provided, such as FVNR, FVR, Y-D, etc.. Equipped with different types of thermal relays, such as temperature-compensated bimetal thermal relays, to provide overload protection.
IntelliCENTER MCC
Switching and Motor Starting Control: Advanced switching and motor starting control functions with remote control and status feedback via DeviceNet.
Integrated Functions: Integrates a variety of functions and supports a variety of communication protocols to work with PLCs and other devices to achieve automated control and monitoring.

Feeder unit: Provide feeder units with different rated currents, equipped with corresponding protection devices to meet the power supply requirements of different loads.
