System hardware description (panel IO+internal connectors)
1. Front panel interface
Power button (non self locking, press and hold for 5 seconds to force shutdown), reset hard reset button; Status LED indicator light; PS/2 key mouse mouth; 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports; DVI - I video; 4×USB2.0; 2×USB3.0; Type-II press type CFast card slot.
Network port LED: yellow is the link activity light; Green/orange are speed lights (10M off, 100M green, 1000M orange).
DVI - I is compatible with both digital DVI and analog VGA, and the manual provides complete pin definitions.
Note: USB 3.0 does not support installing the operating system through a USB drive.
2. Rear panel interface
DC power terminal: 3P pluggable terminal, V+、GND、V‑, Input 9-32VDC;
Additionally, there are 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports available; ESATA external storage interface; Audio microphone/speaker jack; DB-62P composite interface (integrating 4-channel COM, 4DI+4DO isolated digital IO);
DB-62P requires matching adapter cables to lead out 4 DB9 serial ports and DB25 DIO ports. The manual provides a complete signal table for DB-62P, DB9 serial ports, and DB25 DIO pins, including isolated DIO electrical parameters.
3. Internal connectors on the motherboard board
CMOS clear jumper JP1: Short circuiting the pin can restore BIOS to factory default; JP2 clearing jumper for ME RTC register, only recommended for factory use, user operation may cause exceptions.
Dual Mini PCIe slots for wireless communication modules; The USIM card holder is used in conjunction with the 3G module.
GPS module power socket, providing 5V/3.3V, maximum 1A per channel.
SATA III onboard storage interface for 2.5-inch hard drives.

Quickly get started with installation and operation
Before disassembling the hardware, the power must be turned off. The CPU/PCH heat source of the whole machine is located on the left side, and a minimum 5cm heat dissipation gap needs to be left above the heat sink.
Installation of 2.5-inch SATA hard drive/SSD: Unscrew the bottom hand screw, remove the bottom cover, take out the hard drive bracket, fix the 2.5-inch disk, connect the SATA data cable and power supply, and restore the entire machine.
Memory installation: Remove the bottom cover, remove the memory shielding bracket, insert DDR3 SO-DIMM memory, fasten the buckle, and reinstall the bracket.
CFast card installation: Open the front panel protective cover, press and unplug the CFast card, and it can be directly used as a system boot disk.
COM&DIO wiring: Connect the DB-62P to the matching adapter and split it into four DB9 serial ports and DIO DB25 interfaces.
DC power supply wiring: Connect 9-32V DC, strictly confirm the positive and negative poles, tighten the terminal screws, and connect the wrong polarity to burn out the equipment.
Wall mounted installation: Remove the rubber foot pad at the bottom of the machine, use the matching M4 screws to fix the wall bracket, and then fix the whole machine to the wall.
Driver installation
Compatible with Windows XP and Windows 7 systems; The drive medium is Linghua All in One DVD. For other systems, please contact the manufacturer for support and install them in order:
Chipset driver: QM67 chipset, managing PCIe, SATA, USB buses; Installation completed and restarted.
Graphics card driver: Intel HD3000 core display.
Network card driver: Distinguish between Realtek RTL8111C and Intel 82574IT controller drivers.
Audio driver: Realtek ALC269 high fidelity audio.
Watchdog WDT driver: Provides system crash automatic reset function and C/C++development library.
BIOS Settings (AMI Aptio BIOS)
Enter BIOS and press DEL to power on; BIOS is divided into six major menus: Main, Advanced, Chipset, Boot, Security, and Exit.
Main menu: View BIOS version, set system date and time.
Advanced Menu (Key)
ACPI settings: sleep switch, sleep state configuration;
CPU configuration: EIST, Turbo Turbo, C-State power management, virtualization VT-X, XD protection;
Onboard device configuration: Turn on/off four-way gigabit network card, enable PCIe network boot ROM;
Advanced power management: Power off recovery and power on behavior (boot/shut down/restore last state), LAN network wake-up, RTC timed wake-up, BIOS watchdog;
SATA configuration: Select IDE/AHCI mode to manage hot swapping of SATA, CFast, and eSATA ports;
Intel AT anti-theft technology, AMT remote management configuration;
USB configuration: Traditional USB support, USB 3.0 switch;
Super IO: Configure 4 serial ports, switch between RS232/422/485 mode for COM1/COM2, modify IO address interrupt;
Hardware monitoring: reading motherboard, CPU temperature, and various voltages;
Serial console redirection: COM port remote console parameter.
Chipset chipset menu: VT-d virtualization IO, core graphics DVMT/GTT memory settings.
Boot startup menu: Startup timeout NumLock、Quiet Boot、 Activate device priority settings.
Security menu: administrator password, user boot password.
Exit menu: Save/discard changes, restore factory default, start EFI Shell.
If the BIOS settings are incorrect and cannot boot up, use the motherboard JP1 jumper to clear the CMOS and restore the default.
Appendix A: Watchdog WDT Library Functions
Hardware watchdog, system application freezes and timeout, automatic hardware reset of the entire machine; C/C++interface functions:
InitWDT() initialization; SetWDT() sets the timeout period (in seconds/minutes, 1-255); StartWDT() starts; ResetWDT() feeding dogs; StopWDT() stops the watchdog. The project requires importing WDT. h header files and WDT. lib library.
Safety instructions
When disassembling and assembling equipment, be sure to turn off the power, keep the equipment away from liquids and moisture, ensure ventilation and heat dissipation, and use a DC power supply within the specifications.
RTC is a lithium button battery, there is a risk of explosion if the wrong model is used, and the discarded battery is recycled in compliance with regulations.
Power supply damage, liquid ingress, and falling damage must be repaired by authorized Linghua engineers. Disassembly and repair by oneself are prohibited.
