Complete steps for hardware installation
Turn off the power, open the computer case, select a vacant white/beige short PCI slot, and remove the baffle;
Anti static operation: Remove the board from the anti-static bag to prevent static electricity from penetrating the chip;
Insert PCI-7432 into the PCI slot and secure the screws to prevent the board from loosening or being damaged;
Connect a 100 pin SCSI cable, with one end connected to the metal interface of the board and the other end connected to the DIN terminal board;
Close the chassis and install software drivers after powering on.
Software driver and Medialon control software installation
1. Windows 2000 Driver Installation Process
Installation of supporting driver CD, automatic recognition of new PCI hardware by the boot system;
When the hardware wizard pops up, specify the CD drive (D drive) to load the driver file;
After installation is complete, click "Finish" to use it without restarting the computer;
2. Medialon MxM control software adaptation
Directly select the Adlink PCI-7432 hardware driver module within the software without the need to install additional plugins separately;
Refer to the MxM built-in help documentation for device creation and instruction invocation;
The board is native and fully compatible with Medialon Manager stage control software.
Installation troubleshooting plan
Common problem self check steps
Hardware level: Confirm that the board is fully inserted and the fixing screws are tightened;
Driver level: Verify the complete installation of the driver;
System level: Open Windows Device Manager to check for hardware resource conflicts;
Conflict resolution: Uninstalling device drivers, re identifying and reinstalling after power failure and restart of the entire machine;
