Chapter 2: Definition of Jumpers, Connectors, and Pins
Front end motherboard key jumper JP1
JP1 controls CMOS: 2-3 short circuit as default normal; Short circuit 1-2 to clear BIOS settings.
Network Port Routing Dialing S1/S2/S3/S4
At the bottom of the motherboard, there are four sets of micro dials that control LAN1 and LAN2 to use the front panel RJ45 or rear RTM respectively; Prohibiting a group of dialing codes from being turned on simultaneously can cause the network card to short circuit and fail.
Distinguishing jumper wires between two RTM adapter boards
CPCI-R6760D: JP2~JP5 four sets of jumpers, switch COM2 level standard (232/422/485/485 automatic transmission and reception)
CPCI-R6760S: JP2/JP3 controls LAN3/LAN4 enablement; JP4~JP7 switch COM2 level
Complete Pin List for All Interfaces
The document includes all panel interfaces (VGA, COM, Ethernet, etc.) USB、PS2、 Parallel mouth SCSI)、 Complete pin signal definitions for the in board pins (IDE/FDD, cPCI rj3/rj4/rj5, PMC J11/J12), and accompanying engineering drawings for the top/bottom layer of the board and RTM board layout.
Important wiring ban
The same function (VGA/Ethernet/serial/keyboard and mouse) cannot be wired simultaneously on the front and rear panels, which will burn out the interface and lose warranty.

Chapter 3 Installation Operation Guide
Memory installation
Dual 144Pin SO-DIMM slots, supporting 32/64/128/256MB PC100 3.3V memory, with a maximum of 512MB; after installation, it should not be raised above the board height to avoid component damage caused by squeezing when inserted into the chassis.
CF clip card DB-6760CF
Replace the onboard 2.5-inch hard drive and install it on the CN2 44Pin second IDE of the motherboard
JP1 jumper setting for master/slave devices, IDE channel can mount up to 2 devices, rear IDE hard drive needs to have a slave disk to avoid conflicts
Equipped with pop-up buckles and shock resistant fixing screws, suitable for replacing mechanical hard drives in high vibration scenarios
Installation of 2.5-inch hard drive
Special 44Pin ribbon cable+copper pillar accessory package; Only supports 9.5mm ultra-thin disks, CF/solid-state electronic disks are recommended as substitutes for high vibration environments.
Chassis and Backpanel Adaptation
Linghua original cBP-6108/6105/6515/6402 backplane: J3/J5 directly connected to IDE/FDD, can be directly connected to storage without RTM
Third party non-standard backplane: Must be paired with corresponding RTM adapter board to use rear I/O
IDE channel master-slave specification: Front mounted CF/hard drive defaults to master drive, rear mounted IDE devices must have a slave drive, otherwise conflicts will be recognized
Chapter 4 Driver Installation Tutorial
Supporting driver CD support systems: Win95/98/ME, NT4.0, Win2000, Linux, VxWorks, divided into three types of core drivers. Step by step instructions:
SM721 graphics card driver
Win2000/98 direct device manager update; NT4 must be patched with SP4 or above before AGP can be enabled, with a standard resolution of 1280 × 1024.
Intel 82559 Network Card Driver
Support network card load balancing, fault redundancy, and link aggregation; NT requires creating a driver floppy disk before installation, and providing Netware and Linux supporting files.
LSI 53C1000R SCSI driver (only compatible with R6760S)
Ultra160 external SCSI, when installing the NT system, it is necessary to load a floppy disk driver to recognize the SCSI hard disk.
Addendum: The system comes with UDMA IDE drivers that do not require manual installation.
Chapter 5 Watchdog, Supporting Tools, and Advanced Features
Watchdog WDT Development and Testing
IO address 0x3F0 configured with W83977EF Super IO, timing range of 1 second to 255 minutes, write 0 to turn off
The CD provides DOS/Win98/NT testing programs and development libraries, which can be embedded with industrial control software to achieve automatic reset of system crashes
Hardware Doctor Hardware Monitoring Tool
Windows platform backend resident software, real-time monitoring of voltage, fan, and temperature; Exceeding the limit pop-up window+buzzing alarm, custom threshold to prevent overheating and burning of CPU/power supply.
PCIe Network Disk Free Startup
The dual network port supports a PXE pre boot environment, and when paired with DHCP+TFTP servers, it can load the operating system from the local area network, making it suitable for devices without local storage.
Network card adapter aggregation (Adaptive Teaming)
Four working modes: fault tolerance, adaptive load balancing, fast Ethernet channel, standard link aggregation, to enhance bandwidth and network redundancy.
PICMG2.1 Hot Plug Mechanism
ENUM # interrupt signal notifies motherboard peripheral insertion and removal, BIOS can configure IRQ3/9
Insertion and unplugging process: toggle the hot plug switch → system soft shutdown → blue light stays on for safe unplugging; Plug in board automatically re enumerating PCI hardware
Limitation: cPCI-6760D is the system main control slot and hot plugging is prohibited for itself. Only sub peripheral slots support hot plugging
