Product Overview

Product positioning and appearance configuration

CP69xx is an embedded single touch panel for control cabinets, suitable for various automation scenarios. Its core hardware and structural features include:

Display specifications: Multiple TFT LCD screens, sizes and resolutions: 5.7 inches (640 × 480), 6.5 inches (640 × 480), 12 inches (800 × 600), 15 inches (1024 × 768), 19 inches (1280 × 1024).

Panel style: There are various configurations on the front - pure display screen without buttons, PLC function keys with 10 LED indicator lights, American numeric keyboard, American full letter keyboard.

Shell and installation: steel plate body+aluminum front panel; Equipped with a pull-out compression handle, there is no need for loose accessories, enabling quick installation of the control cabinet.

Power supply: Standard 24V DC power supply.

Hardware Structure and Interface Definition

All interfaces are located below the back of the device, with a total of 5 standard interfaces and detailed pin definitions marked:

DVI Extended Input (X101): Receive industrial computer image signals, with a maximum transmission length of 50m per cable; the panel has a built-in signal processor to repair signal distortion caused by long-distance transmission; Require graphics card/motherboard DDC transmission rate ≤ 50kHz, otherwise there will be no picture fault.

USB Extended Input (X102, RJ45 interface): Paired with CU8801 converter, USB 2.0 signal can be transmitted up to 50m via Category 5 Ethernet cable. It is not an Ethernet interface and cannot be connected to network switches.

Standard USB input (X103, B-type port): Directly connected to the USB interface of the industrial computer, with a maximum transmission distance of 5m, supporting USB2.0.

USB output (X104/X105, Type A port): 2 channels in total, used for external USB peripherals, supporting USB 2.0.

Power interface (X106, 5-pin): connected to 24V DC and protective ground; The rated current is 16A, the maximum suitable wire diameter is 1.5mm ², and the equipment terminal voltage should not be lower than 22V to avoid power outages caused by voltage fluctuations.

Status indicator lights, nameplates, and button functions

Status LED (back): There are a total of 6 LEDs, 2 of which are non functional; The rest indicate that USB1 is running, USB2 is running, the power supply is normal, and 24V power supply is connected.

Equipment nameplate: marked with model, serial number, production date, screen/touch specifications, certification, interface distribution, certification marks (CE, EAC, UKCA, FCC, etc.), is an important basis for after-sales maintenance.

Key functions: including directional keys, enter, delete, tab, case switch, Ctrl/Alt key combination, system shortcut keys, and 10 LED specific function keys that can be customized by TwinCAT.

Optional Connection Kit

Provide matching cable kits of different lengths and interface combinations, covering transmission scenarios of 1m~50m:

Short distance (1/3/5m): comes standard with two combinations: DVI+USB cable and DP to DVI+USB cable;

Long distance (10-50m): including DVI cable, Category 5 Ethernet cable, CU8801 USB extension converter, short USB cable, suitable for USB long-distance transmission needs;

Supporting accessories: C9900-P927 is a dedicated 5-pin power plug (with cable stress relief structure).

Debugging and commissioning (installation, wiring, power on)

Transportation and unboxing

The equipment is resistant to vibration but not to severe impact, and the original packaging needs to be used for transportation; Environments with large temperature differences are prone to condensation, and it is necessary to let it stand at room temperature before powering on. If condensation occurs, wait for more than 12 hours.

After opening the box, check the packaging and appearance of the equipment, verify the list of accessories, and contact Beifu after-sales service promptly if there is any damage or shortage.

Installation of control cabinet

Installation requirements: Only vertical installation is supported. The thickness of the control cabinet installation board is 2-5mm, and holes need to be drilled according to the equipment size; Avoid direct sunlight and exposure to strong light to ensure a clear viewing angle.

Installation steps: Insert the panel into the cabinet opening → Rotate the clamping handle outward → Use a 3mm hex wrench to tighten and secure, ensuring a firm seal.

Wiring and Grounding (Key Process)

Wiring sequence: Ground first, then connect data cables, and finally connect power supply. It is strictly prohibited to plug or unplug with power on.

Grounding requirements: divided into protective grounding (to prevent electric shock) and functional grounding (to resist electromagnetic interference and ensure EMC); The diameter of the functional grounding wire should not be less than 4mm ² and should be connected to the main grounding point of the control cabinet.

Power wiring: The recommended wire diameter for power lines is 1.5mm ² (necessary for long-distance wiring); The power circuit needs to be equipped with a maximum 4A fuse, which complies with EN 60204-1 standard.

Special suggestion: Prioritize using industrial computer UPS output power supply to ensure that the panel continues to work after power failure. Only one control panel can be connected to a single UPS output.

Touch screen usage and protection

Operation requirements: Only use bare hands or dust-free gloves for operation, and do not touch the screen with hard objects.

Protective film: Temporary dust-proof and scratch resistant protective film can be installed, and standardized installation and removal steps are provided.

Cleaning mode: Use the Beifu Display Control tool to activate the cleaning mode (5-120 seconds) to avoid accidental operation during cleaning.


Shutdown, disassembly, and disposal of scrap

Shutdown and power off: First shut down the equipment → cut off the external 24V power supply → disconnect the power line, data line, and grounding wire in sequence. Operation is prohibited in thunderstorm weather.

Equipment disassembly: Use an Allen wrench to loosen the clamping handle → reset the handle → remove the panel.

Scrap disposal: Strictly follow local regulations on electronic waste recycling and do not dispose of it at will.


Daily maintenance and troubleshooting

Daily maintenance and cleaning

Cleaning standards: The screen can be cleaned while in operation; Prohibit abrasive cleaning agents, high-pressure water guns, steam cleaning machines, and compressed air; Recommend using glass cleaner, alcohol, and light gasoline.

Fault description: The occurrence of a small number of bad pixels on the TFT screen is a normal production phenomenon and not a quality issue.

Maintenance permission: Equipment failures can only be repaired by the manufacturer's official service, and users are not allowed to disassemble them on their own.

Common faults and solutions

Equipment completely unresponsive: Check the power supply line, if it is still abnormal, contact after-sales service;

Screen dim/no display, intermittent operation: most likely due to backlight or internal hardware damage, contact after-sales maintenance;

Touch malfunction: Check if the grounding function is normal, and ensure that the operator is grounded properly (standing in ordinary shoes and socks);

TwinCAT USB communication error: Adjust the system cycle from the default 10ms to 50-80ms.
