Overall introduction of product hardware

Distinguishing between two major models

CU8803-0000: Industrial computer DVI input interface, compatible with IPC with DVI port, driving CP29xx/CP39xx-0010 series panels;

CU8803-0001: DP to DVI input, compatible with C60xx, standard ATX industrial computer with DP interface, supports CP29xx/CP39xx-0010.

Four major interface definitions (device front layout)

X10 USB 2.0 Type-B input

Connect the industrial computer with a supporting cable of up to 1m in length;

Pin: 1=5V, 2=D -, 3=D+, 4=GND.

X20 DVI-D video input

Industrial computer video input, cable limit of 1m; complete DVI dual channel pin definition, including DDC, hot plug detection, and synchronization signal.

X30 CP Link4 output (single cable output)

Using Cat.6A Ethernet cable, transmitting DVI video, USB 2.0, 24V power supply simultaneously on one line, with a maximum distance of 100 meters to the remote control panel;

Dual state LED:

P30 (green LINK): Always on=panel link normal, off=no connection;

P20 (yellow ACT): Blinking=data transmission, constant off=no signal interaction.

X40 3-pin 24V power supply terminal

Pin 1=+24V, 2=0V, 3=PE protection ground;

Suitable for 0.8-1.5mm ² cables with cold pressed terminals, with a preference for 1.5mm ² long cables to reduce voltage drop. The minimum operating voltage of the equipment is 22V;

Green P10 power light: constantly on=normal power supply, off=power failure/undervoltage;

Matching terminal order number C9900-P944.

nameplate information

The nameplate includes the model number, serial number BTN, hardware version, production year, ATEX/IECEx explosion-proof certification, CE/FCC/UKCA and other markings, and the place of origin in Germany.

Transportation, installation, and wiring debugging

Handing Information 

Temperature and humidity storage and transportation range -25~70 ℃, violent impact is prohibited;

After transportation in a large temperature difference environment, condensation is prone to occur. If condensation occurs, it must be left to stand for 12 hours before being powered on to prevent short circuit and burning;

Check the packaging and body for any damage upon arrival, and keep the original packaging for future use.

DIN rail mechanical installation

Standard 35mm EN50022 guide rail; Installation method: Insert the upper hook into the guide rail and press down on the bottom buckle to lock it in place;

Equipment size 70 × 100 × 80mm, weight 745g;

Explosion proof scenarios require the installation of a USB cable stress bracket C9900-Z484, fixed with TX20 screws, and secured with zip ties to prevent the USB connector from pulling.

Wiring standard process (irreversible)

First connect the PE protective ground, then connect the USB and DVI data cables, and finally connect the 24V power supply; The order of power-off and dismantling is reversed;

System potential requirements: The power supply should have a potential of 0V and PE, in compliance with the EN60204-1 PELV standard;

The external panel power supply circuit and industrial control power supply circuit must be grounded together to avoid potential difference damage to communication;

Explosion proof environments require complete assembly of cable stress fixing structures.

Shutdown, disassembly, and scrapping

Power off sequence: Cut off the 24V main power supply → Pull out the power supply terminal → Remove the CP Link4, USB, and DVI cables; In explosion-proof scenarios, first remove the USB cable tie and stress bracket;

Dismantling of guide rail: Press down on the bottom buckle of the equipment, first loosen the lower side and then detach from the upper hook to remove it;

Scraping follows the WEEE electronic waste regulations, with metal and circuit boards sorted and recycled, and can be sent back to Beifu's original factory for processing.

Maintain cleanliness

The IP20 device is only used inside the control cabinet, and dust should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner;

Prohibit high-pressure air blowing, steel wire balls, grinding and cleaning agents, acid and alkali solvents;
