Beckhoff C63xx-0020 series control cabinet industrial PC

Product Overview

1. Product positioning and application

C63xx-0020 is an embedded industrial PC for control cabinets, specifically designed for use with Beifu CP68xx/CP78xx series DVI+USB control panels. It is widely used in mechanical equipment and complete automation production lines.

2. Structural differentiation of aircraft models

This series is divided into two major structural versions, with slight differences in hardware layout:

C63x5 model: using fanless fins for heat dissipation, supporting a maximum ambient temperature of 45 ℃; The lower part of the chassis integrates a power supply and a hard drive, and comes standard with a slot type motherboard. Some models are equipped with ultra-thin CD-ROM drives.

C63x0 model: Equipped with a cooling fan, the chassis layout is similar to C63x5. When opening the cover, pay attention to protecting the fan connection cable.

Universal opening method: Loosen the fixing screws of the shell, remove the plastic buckle and aluminum alloy top cover, and then extract the host chassis.

3. Onboard standard interface (front integrated)

USB interface: There are a total of 3 USB 2.0 ports, two of which are mainly used to connect to the matching control panel, and one can be used to connect to conventional USB peripherals.

Network port: Dual 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, used for network communication.

DVI interface: video output port, directly connected to the control panel; If you need to switch to a VGA monitor, you need to select C9900-Z411 (adapter)/C9900-Z413 (adapter cable).

Serial port: onboard RS232 (COM2, 9-pin Sub-D interface); The COM1 serial port is connected to the power module internally and is not externally connected.

Expansion: Supports optional third-party expansion boards, with equipment nameplates on the plastic cover of the body indicating factory configuration information.


Transportation, unpacking, and cabinet installation

1. Transportation and Storage

Transportation must use original packaging, and the equipment is generally resistant to vibration to avoid severe impacts.

Environments with large temperature differences are prone to condensation. When condensation occurs, it should be left to stand for 12 hours before being powered on.

Storage and transportation temperature: -20 ℃~+65 ℃, operating humidity ≤ 95% (no condensation).

2. Open box inspection

Keep the original packaging for easy transportation in the future; Check the inventory list and inspect the appearance for any transportation damage.

Properly keep the supporting materials, and immediately contact Beifu after-sales service in case of damage or discrepancy of goods.

3. Cabinet installation requirements

The control cabinet needs to be prefabricated with installation holes according to the equipment opening size, with sufficient ventilation space reserved, and it is strictly prohibited to block the heat dissipation port.

Grounding requirements: The chassis grounding column is connected to the main grounding point of the control cabinet using low impedance cables to suppress electromagnetic interference.

Protection level: The whole machine is IP20 and can only be used in standard control cabinets.


Power supply and wiring specifications

1. Power supply parameters

Rated input: 22-30 VDC DC power supply, standard power consumption of 150W, maximum input current of 10A.

Power output: Built in multiple DC power supplies (+5V/-5V/+12V/-12V/+3.3V/5V standby) provide power to the entire machine's board and peripherals.

Protection requirement: The power supply circuit must be equipped with a 16A fuse.

2. Connector and cable specifications

The whole machine is equipped with two sets of 5-pin terminal blocks (upper and lower partitions), with a cable diameter requirement of 1.5mm ² and a maximum length limit of 10m for a single cable. It also comes with cable crimping and stress relief components, and a standardized crimping process (wire stripping 8-9mm, fastening buckle).

3. Pin definition and function

Upper 5-pin terminal:

Pin 1: PC-ON (external start stop signal, connected to 24V can trigger power on/off)

Pin 2: Power Status (power status output, signal changes from 24V to 0V after shutdown, can be linked to external switch)

4/5 pins: 24V main power supply

Lower 5-pin terminal: 6-10 pins are 24V main power supply+UPS battery interface, which can be connected to C9900-U330 battery pack for power-off endurance.

4. Wiring process

Disconnect the power supply of all devices, then press and assemble the plugs in sequence.

First, complete the grounding, then connect the signal cable, and finally connect the 24V main power supply.

Do not pull or tug on the cable. The plug body must be held tightly for insertion and removal.

System operation usage

1. Power on/off logic

The equipment does not have an independent physical ship type switch, and will automatically power on and start after being connected to a qualified 24V power supply.

Shutdown: First, exit and shut down the system/control software normally, and then cut off the external power supply; After a power outage, it is recommended to wait for at least 10 seconds before powering it back on.

Permission reminder: Accounts without system shutdown permission are strictly prohibited from directly shutting down the power, as it can easily cause data damage.

2. First power on and drive

Models with pre installed systems at the factory: The hardware drivers have been pre installed and can be used directly upon power up.

Model without pre installed system: You need to install the operating system yourself and install the accompanying board and peripheral drivers.

3. UPS supporting software

When selecting a UPS battery pack, it is necessary to install a dedicated UPS driver program (C9900-S700); The software is a self extracting program that comes with a help document after installation, and can quickly access the configuration interface from the system menu.


Maintenance, replacement, and scrapping

1. Daily cleaning

After the whole machine is powered off, wipe it with a soft damp cloth; It is strictly prohibited to use corrosive cleaning agents, diluents, and hard tools to avoid scratching the shell and interface.

2. Component replacement

Motherboard battery: It needs to be replaced according to the original factory specifications, and mismatched models can easily cause explosion risks; Waste batteries should be recycled according to hazardous waste regulations.

The main body of the machine is designed to be maintenance free and does not require regular maintenance.

3. Scrap disposal

Complete disassembly of equipment: metal shell for metal recycling.

Electronic components such as circuit boards, hard drives, optical drives, batteries, etc. are strictly classified and disposed of in accordance with local electronic waste regulations.


Troubleshooting

Organize typical fault phenomena, causes, and corresponding solutions:

Power on the whole machine without response, power interruption, damaged fuses, loose wiring. Check the power supply and circuit, investigate the wiring, and contact after-sales if there are still abnormalities

Unable to complete boot. There is a CD/floppy disk or BIOS parameter error in the CD-ROM/floppy drive. Remove the media and restore the BIOS default settings. Invalid. Contact after-sales service

The system starts normally, but the control software functions abnormally. If there is a software or external device malfunction, please contact the software/device manufacturer for maintenance

Optical/floppy drive read/write error, disk damage, drive hardware failure, replacement of disk, hardware failure, contact after-sales service

Intermittent operation of equipment, partial functional failure, internal hardware damage. Contact Beifu after-sales service for maintenance
