Product basic information
1. Manufacturer and positioning
Beckwith Electric (a brand under Hubbell) M-0067E is a universal LTC (on load tap changer) controller that can adapt to various types of on load tap changers, both old and new. It can also directly replace Westinghouse SVC and SVR voltage control devices. Mainstream transformer manufacturers in the industry use it as a matching standard voltage control equipment, meeting ANSI Level 1 (1%) voltage control accuracy standards.
2. Core purpose
Real time monitoring of bus voltage, automatic driving of transformer tap changer up/down gear, stable power supply voltage; Support line voltage drop compensation, parallel circulating current suppression of multiple transformers, and adapt to distribution network voltage regulation and main transformer voltage regulation scenarios.
Hardware input specifications
1. Working power input
Two phase voltage input, power supply range 90~140Vac, overall power consumption<3W;
The power supply is taken from the PT voltage of the bus to be controlled, and no additional power supply is required.
2. Current CT input (two independent, electrically isolated)
Line voltage drop compensation CT
Rated 0.2A full range, CT load is only 0.03VA;
If the on-site CT is 5A/8.66A, M-0121/M-0169 auxiliary CT can be used to convert it to 0.2A.
Transformer parallel circulating current CT
Rated at 0.2A full range, with extremely low CT load of only 0.005VA;
Used for circulating current correction in parallel operation of multiple transformers, with a 0.2A input that can provide approximately 24V voltage correction and adjustable phase by ± 90 °.
3. Electrical isolation characteristics
The voltage circuit and two current circuits are completely electrically isolated and do not interfere with each other; All inputs and outputs have a ground withstand voltage of 1500Vac/1min, with system transient surge protection, meeting the ANSI/IEEE C37.90.1 anti-interference standard.

The setting range is 105~135Vac, the 120Vac scale accuracy is ± 0.5V, and the target maintenance voltage is set.
TOTAL BANDWIDTH Total Control Bandwidth
Adjustable from 1.0 to 6.0V, which means the maximum dead zone allowed for voltage deviation from the center value, with a scale accuracy of ± 0.3V.
TIME Delay Timer
Adjustable from 0 to 120 seconds: timing starts after the voltage exceeds the limit, and the tap changer action is triggered only after the timing ends;
Accuracy: Take the larger of ± 10% of the set value or ± 2 seconds; The voltage drops back to within the bandwidth and automatically resets within milliseconds.
LINE DROP COMPENSATOR Line Voltage Drop Compensation
Two independent precision potentiometers: set the resistance voltage drop and reactance voltage drop respectively;
Resistance compensation: 0.2A input corresponds to a maximum 24V in-phase voltage compensation;
Reactive compensation: 0.2A input corresponds to maximum 24V ± 90 ° phase shift compensation;
Direct/REVERSE switch for switching reactance compensation phase; The factory amplitude error is ± 5% and the phase error is ± 2%, which can be finely adjusted with high precision by the user.
Test/Operational Test Run Switch
Operational: Normal operation, pressure drop compensation function activated;
TEST: Turn off voltage drop compensation, the panel can manually simulate voltage rise and fall, and an external voltmeter can be used to verify the upper and lower limit action LEDs without the need for an external standard test power supply.
RAISE/LOWER action LED indicator light
When the voltage exceeds the limit and the timer starts counting, it lights up with a hysteresis loop of only 0.2V, and the voltage change recognition is sensitive; The LED design has a lifespan of 25 years.

Two operating modes (distinguished by the cam auxiliary contact of the tap changer)
1. Non Sequential Mode
After each tap gear switch is completed, the timer is reset directly without waiting for the voltage to return to the control band.
2. Sequential Mode
The timer will only reset to zero when the bus voltage returns to the set bandwidth; If the voltage continues to exceed the standard, it will be continuously delayed for voltage regulation to avoid frequent gear shifting and oscillation.
Output circuit specifications
Two independent outputs, driving the upshift and downshift motor start relays respectively;
The maximum output withstand voltage is 240Vac, the rated impulse current is 2.5A, and it can be adapted to NEMA 1 type and smaller motor contactors.

1. Multi level voltage derating (low voltage protection logic)
When the input voltage is below about 60Vac, the voltage regulation output is locked (low voltage protection), and only upshifting operation is allowed in the low voltage range. Optional configuration:
1/2 level fixed voltage reducing resistor;
Up to 3 levels of voltage reduction (internal resistor+external high-power resistor);
Instantaneous voltage reduction circuit without delay.
2. 50Hz frequency model
Standard factory 60Hz, overseas power grids can choose 50Hz hardware version.
