Basic standards and energy efficiency system

Symbol unit: Define the complete set of motor industry parameter symbols such as torque, speed, current, inertia, braking time, and working mode.

Traceability of Energy Efficiency Standards

Following IEC 60034-30-1, energy efficiency levels: IE1 (standard), IE2 (high efficiency), IE3 (ultra-high efficiency), IE4 (ultra-high efficiency); At the same time, refer to the IEC 61800-9 ecological design standard for variable frequency drive systems and the EU Regulation 2019/1781 on inverter energy efficiency.

We have established global energy efficiency benchmarks, including NEMA, China GB18613, Brazil NBR, Australia, India BIS, and other national standards.

The machine base covers 56-355 and supports 2/4/6 poles; The compact M/ME/MX has a smaller volume and is suitable for direct flange connection of Bonfly gearboxes.

Model Naming Rules

The complete model code includes: series+base specifications+number of poles+voltage frequency+protection level+insulation level+installation form+brake model+various options.

The brake is an FD series spring pressurized DC brake;

Can define manual release handle R (automatic reset), RM (lockable hold release), handle orientation AA/AB/AC/AD;

The terminal box can change orientation;

The nameplate sample displays the nameplate of the old BX-BE-BN motor, which includes: series model, serial number, voltage connection Δ/Y, 50/60Hz dual frequency data, efficiency at different load points, working mode S1, thermal protection, and brake parameters.

Thermal protection, encoder feedback, anti condensation heater, tropical treatment, dual output shaft PS, check valve AL/AR, rotor dynamic balance level, forced air cooling, rain cover, textile dust cover, insulated bearings, vertical installation, surface anti-corrosion coating, customized paint color, various certification certificates.


Mechanical characteristics 

Installation form: IM B3 foot, B5 large flange, B14 small flange; Combination B34/B35; There is also a B5R shrink fit flange. VM option must be selected for vertical installation of large machine base BX ≥ 200K and BY ≥ 280K; RC rainproof drip cover is recommended for vertical orientation with the axis facing downwards.

Protection level: standard IP55; Brake version standard IP54, optional upgrade to IP56.

Cooling method: Standard IC411 comes with a bidirectional rotating external fan; The U1/U2 independent forced air cooling IC416 option solves the problem of insufficient heat dissipation in low-frequency variable frequency drives.

Rotation direction: Swap the two phases to change direction.

Noise and vibration: default N-level vibration; Choose RV dynamic balance upgrade to B-level low vibration.

Junction box and cable entry: number of terminal posts for different machine bases, specifications of threaded cable glands; The old model has 6 terminals, while the new BXN/MXN model has 9 terminals that support multi voltage wiring.

Bearing system: lifetime lubrication pre tightened deep groove ball bearings; Provide a list of bearing models for DE drive end/NDE non drive end of each machine base; Large size K series motor with grease filling nozzle; L10 lifespan>40000 hours.

Shaft system: DIN332 center threaded hole at the shaft end, optional second shaft extension PS (mutually exclusive with some options).

Electrical Characteristics 

voltage frequency

Standard 50Hz: 230/400V Δ/Y; Large machine base 400/690V;

Supports 60Hz North American voltage 208-480V; BXN/MXN model 9-winding multi voltage terminal board.

The standard voltage allows for a tolerance of ± 10%, while special voltages only have a tolerance of ± 5%.

Environmental derating: The benchmark altitude is ≤ 1000m at 40 ℃; the output power of the environment is reduced by a coefficient at 45-60 ℃.

Work system: default S1 continuous; Support S2 short-term and S3 intermittent cycle working system, provide power amplification factor; Cannot support S4-S9, please contact technical support. Attached are schematic diagrams of S2 and S3 operating conditions.

Key points of frequency converter drive

Suitable for PWM frequency converter; The winding withstand voltage design should deal with dv/dt voltage spikes;

Low frequency (about<30Hz) heat dissipation of self cooling motors deteriorates, requiring torque reduction or installation of U1 independent air cooling;

High speed operation upper limit table; It is strongly recommended to use IB insulated bearings for large machine base frequency conversion to suppress shaft current.

Allowable number of starts per hour Z: Provide a correction calculation formula for no-load Z0 and loaded Z0, combined with inertia and load coefficient.

FD DC Spring Brake Chapter

The entire series comes standard with power-off braking (spring holding brake, automatic locking in case of power failure), and dynamic braking is only allowed in emergency conditions, with priority given to static holding.

Structure: Spring applies force, coil is energized and released; Non asbestos friction pads;

Protection level: Regular version IP54, upgraded IP55 version with a complete set of stainless steel friction pair components.

Selection of rectifier

NB/SB: Motor side power rectification; SB with instantaneous strong excitation, shortening release time, suitable for high-frequency frequent start stop;

NBR/SBR: Quickly cut off the circuit and shorten the brake response;

SA: Brake independent AC power supply; SD: Direct DC power supply.

Complete parameters: braking torque, suction/release time, maximum single braking power Wmax, 20 ℃ coil power consumption for each FD model; The braking torque can be modified by adding or removing spring plates.

Manual release mechanism

R: Release the handle and let go to reset automatically;

RM: The handle can be mechanically locked and released for easy maintenance;

The installation orientation of the handle can be configured as AA/AB/AC/AD.

4 types of wiring schematics: motor power supply AC cut-off, independent power supply, AC+DC simultaneous cut-off quick shutdown scheme.

Encoder feedback EN1-EN8: incremental Sin/Cos、 Single cycle/multi cycle Hiperface absolute encoder; Define power supply, interface, pulse count, and upper limit of speed.

IB insulated bearings: BX ≥ 200K, BY ≥ 280K are required for variable frequency drive of large motors to prevent shaft current from corroding the bearings.

VM vertical installation kit; Anti corrosion coating C3/C4/C5M marine anti-corrosion; RAL customized paint; ACM/CC factory inspection certificate.
