Wiring and Application Solutions for All Series Models (the largest chapter in the book)
According to the protected objects, it is divided into five series: feeder F, motor M, generator G, transformer T, and bus voltage V. Each model provides a terminal diagram, functional block diagram, typical primary and secondary wiring examples, and also explains the 2CT two-phase Aron simplified wiring scheme.
4.1 Feedline Protection Series (F201/F205/F210/F215/F255)
Suitable for factory power supply and busbar outgoing line protection, with standard overcurrent, zero sequence, direction, circuit breaker failure, and arc protection; Support 2CT Alon three-phase three wire simplified connection method (defect: unable to detect L2 grounding).
4.2 Motor Protection Series (M210/M215/M255/M257)
Specially designed for high-power high and low voltage motors, it integrates locked rotor, overheating RTD, negative sequence, differential (M257), start monitoring, grounding protection, and supports CT differential wiring diagrams on both sides of the motor.
4.3 Generator Protection Series (G215/G257)
Complete protection for ship/industrial generators, including stator differential, demagnetization, reverse power, overvoltage/low frequency, rotor temperature measurement, and synchronous voltage detection logic, providing differential wiring for generator+step-up transformer combination.
4.4 Transformer Protection Series (T215/T216/T256/T257)
Dual winding transformer differential, high and low voltage side zero sequence, overheating, and voltage regulation tap control, T257 supports bilateral CT differential protection scheme.
4.5 Bus Voltage Protection V211
Monitoring of bus overvoltage, undervoltage, zero sequence overvoltage, frequency abnormality, PT disconnection alarm.
4.6 General matching: Trip circuit monitoring TCS
An independent section will explain the wiring of trip circuit monitoring: there are two types of circuits: non self-locking and self-locking trip relays. DI is equipped with a 1-second anti shake delay to distinguish the auxiliary contact wiring logic for circuit breaker opening and closing, in order to prevent disconnection and coil burnout that prevent tripping.
