EATON MP-4000 motor protection relay

Product attributes: Eaton MP-4000 is a multifunctional protection relay specifically designed for medium voltage motors. Upgrading background: Based on the industry-leading protection/control/diagnostic functions of MP-3000, the core has been upgraded with the addition of a voltage transformer (VT) input interface, expanding voltage related protection and metering capabilities, while upgrading metering functions and communication protocols.

Panel operation and safety design

The MP-4000 is equipped with a user-friendly operation panel and multiple safety designs, with the following key details:

Visual indication: LED indicator lights can quickly view relay, trip, and alarm status, making the status clear at a glance.

Convenient operation: Set up a help button to provide full process operation guidance on the device side; Display and navigation buttons to quickly access real-time data, relay settings, and historical information with minimal keystrokes; The programming button is used for parameter input.

Security protection: The restricted access function is protected by a safety cover with an instrument seal to prevent unauthorized operations.

Emergency function: The emergency override button is disabled by default. After enabling it, users can reset the hot bucket and start the prohibition timer/counter to achieve emergency motor start.


Exclusive Core Protection Algorithm - Intel-I-Trip

Algorithm features: Eaton's self-developed Intel-I-Trip overload protection algorithm is unique to the MP-4000 and can be connected to the motor RTD (thermistor) through an optional URTD module. Based on the real-time temperature of the motor, it achieves adaptive tripping characteristics, balancing maximum motor protection and capacity utilization.

Usability: Custom trip curves do not require professional programming technicians/engineers. Simply input motor manufacturer data into the device to automatically generate the optimal trip curve for the motor; The help menu can provide full operation assistance and lower the threshold for use.
