Key questions and answers
Question 1: What are the core advantages and working logic of EX2100e Dual Control Hot Backup (WBU)?
answer:
Core advantages: Dual controller M1/M2+dual PCM redundancy, automatic disturbance free switching in case of faults, improving the availability and safety of the excitation system.
Work logic: Two systems operate independently, with one set controlling the output and the other tracking as a backup; When the main control fails, the backup system immediately takes over, and the switching process does not disturb the operation of the generator.
Question 2: What are the key parameters for the power input and output of EX2100e? What are the differences between 35A and 120A models?
answer:
Input: Main input AC, 35A is 90-280V, 120A is * * ≤ 480V * *; Backup DC 125~250V.
Output: All rated voltages are 250VDC, rated currents are 35A and 120A respectively, and short-term strong excitation can reach 210%.
Differences: Mainly in the AC input upper limit and rated output current, the control architecture, functions, and software are completely consistent.
Question 3: What are the key protection functions of EX2100e? What risks should be addressed separately?
answer:
Demagnetization protection 40: Detect generator demagnetization faults to prevent demagnetization operation from causing the unit to lose synchronization and damage.
V/Hz protection 24G: prevents the generator core from saturating and overheating due to a high voltage/frequency ratio.
Overexcitation limit OEL: Limit the strong excitation time and current to prevent the excitation winding from overheating and burning out.
PT fuse failure detection: detect voltage loss during measurement, automatically switch to manual mode to avoid loss of control.
