TECO-Westinghouse MAX-VH ™/ MAX-VHP ™ Series of vertical hollow shaft induction motors, covering a power range of 7.5-1000 HP, suitable for 230V/460V (low voltage), 2300V/4000V (medium voltage) voltage, synchronous speed of 900/1200/1800 RPM, using high-grade cast iron frame, 1045 carbon steel hollow shaft and F-class insulation system, with a protection level of IP23 (WP1)/IP55 (TEFC), certified by NEMA MG-1/MG-13 standards, with a service factor of 1.15 and a 36 month warranty. The core application is in direct coupling scenarios such as pumps, supporting direct start, star delta start, VFD start, and key performance including 125% overspeed tolerance and 160% rated torque tolerance. Structural Design and Core Configuration
(1) Key materials and construction
Rack and connectors: High grade cast iron rack, flange bracket (P-Base), upper bracket, TEFC type with oil tank design (324TP-5810P).
Shaft system: 1045 carbon steel hollow shaft, ensuring high strength and transmission reliability.
Core and winding: C5 grade cold-rolled electromagnetic steel core; The stator winding adopts polyester enameled copper wire (low voltage), mica+glass insulated formed coil (medium voltage 449TP and above), F-class insulation system, and is treated with immersion paint baking.
External components: aluminum alloy external fan, steel plate vertical splash proof cover, cast iron junction box (can rotate 90 °, supports external conduit connection).
