PCD4.W500 and PCD4.W600 are two industrial grade intelligent simulation modules launched by SAIA, designed specifically for signal acquisition and control output in industrial automation scenarios. The two share the following core commonalities:
Isolation and anti-interference: Both have galvanic isolation (500VDC/1min between PCD-GND and module GND), strong anti-interference ability, suitable for complex industrial environments;

Programming and Configuration Points
(1) Mode switching
Standard mode: When the microcontroller is not configured, it is compatible with ordinary analog modules and does not require FB. It can be read and written directly through I/O addresses;
Expansion mode: To enable the intelligent function, it needs to be configured through FB/FBox, and the configuration parameters are stored in EEPROM. After modification, the checksum needs to be reset to 0.

(3) Configuration precautions
The configuration DB should be of RAM type (recommended DB 4000~7999), with the first byte storing the checksum. After modifying the configuration, the checksum should be set to 0;
Initialization is recommended to be executed in XOB16 (cold start) to ensure that the configuration takes effect;
Unused channels need to be configured as "single trigger mode" (code 0000H) to avoid interference;
The base address should be an integer multiple of 16 (0, 16, 32...), avoiding the use of 240 and 496 (which conflicts with watchdog).
