China strives to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. Currently, China accounts for over 28% of the global manufacturing industry. To achieve carbon neutrality goals, the low-carbon transformation of China's manufacturing industry is crucial.
ABB Xiamen Industrial Center covers an area of 425000 square meters and has 3000 employees. By implementing ABB's global "zero emissions vision plan", it is expected to reduce 13400 tons of carbon emissions annually. This project will serve as a good demonstration for global customers and partners, clearly demonstrating how ABB's intelligent digital technology can turn the vision of decarbonization and emissions reduction (indirect electricity emissions) into reality.
ABB Xiamen Industrial Center has advanced production lines for medium and low voltage switchgear and circuit breakers, achieving 50% green electricity substitution by installing 100000 square meters of rooftop photovoltaics. By using multi strategy precise and flexible control technology, we can achieve greater local consumption of clean energy and improve energy efficiency through coordinated source load storage. This smart energy solution is equipped with AI algorithms for power generation prediction and load forecasting. By predicting the situation of power generation and consumption, deploying regulation strategies, it achieves a balance between low-carbon electricity consumption and economic efficiency.
Project Deployment ABB Ability ™ The ZEE600 smart energy management platform precisely regulates the "source network load storage" of the park. This platform integrates energy facilities such as photovoltaics, energy storage, distribution, HVAC, lighting, and charging stations to achieve optimized energy management for the entire park. Among them, the eStore smart energy storage cabin solution covers power distribution and control equipment. Through regulation and management with the smart energy management system ZEE600. it effectively balances photovoltaic fluctuations and improves the local consumption rate of photovoltaics; The constructed DC microgrid provides an effective demonstration for the widespread application of photovoltaic storage DC flexible technology.
The power system of ABB Xiamen Industrial Center is connected to the virtual power plant platform of State Grid Xiamen Power Supply Company, forming a "source load interaction" through the demand side response of energy management system autonomous regulation, which strongly supports the construction of new power systems.
Distributed rooftop photovoltaic distribution modules, smart energy storage modules, and orderly charging management of building loads and charging piles are all modular solutions. This makes ABB Xiamen Industrial Center's solution easy to replicate at other sites, reducing installation time and project complexity. These packaged solutions and medium and low voltage distribution equipment are all locally produced in China.
