LED # indicator light group is equipped with real-time display of PEL, MEL, ORG sensor level status for each axis, enabling quick troubleshooting
Key mandatory wiring rules
The internal circuits of CNIF (Mitsubishi Servo) and SJ (Stepper) on the same axis are directly short circuited, and it is strictly prohibited to connect them at the same time. Choosing between the two can cause signal short circuits and burn out the drive or motion card; Mitsubishi J3A servo must purchase Linghua original 50 pin one-to-one dedicated cable to connect to CNIF.
Detailed explanation of the complete pin functions of each interface
1. CNIF1~CNIF4 (Mitsubishi J3A 50 pin servo dedicated interface, core feature)
Simultaneously including digital pulse signal, analog servo command, absolute value encoder, servo status interaction, emergency stop complete set of Mitsubishi exclusive pins:
Differential motion command: OUT ± pulse, DIR ± direction, ERC error counter reset;
Encoder circuit: EA/EB/EZ differential A/B/Z phase;
Absolute value encoder matching: ABSM forward, ABSR reverse, ABB0 arrival speed;
Simulated servo control: VLA simulates speed limit, TC simulates torque command, TLC torque limit, P15R 15V servo power supply;
Speed related: SP2 speed selection, ZSP zero speed detection;
Servo interaction: SVON servo enable, RDY servo ready, INP in place, ALM servo alarm, LOP control mode selection;
Safety circuit: EMG servo built-in emergency stop, EX-EMG external emergency stop, multi-channel isolated EXGND;
Onboard isolation+24V output, all signals are isolated to suppress interference.
2. IOIF1~IOIF4 (mechanical external IO)
Pin definitions:+24V, EX-EMG external emergency stop, MEL negative limit, PEL positive limit, PS forward deceleration, MSD reverse deceleration, ORG origin, RES reset, EXGND isolated ground.
PSD pin differentiation function
PCI-8134: Only forward deceleration input;
PCI-8164/PXI-8164/MPC-8164: Axis 1/2 PSD corresponds to comparator CMP, and Axis 3/4 PSD corresponds to latch LTC.
3. SJ1~SJ4 (simplified interface for stepper drive)
Differential pulse OUT ±, direction DIR ±, EZ index Z-phase, ALM alarm, SVON enable, two-way+5V power supply, EXGND isolated ground, no analog servo and absolute value related pins.
4. BH1~BH4 expansion spare port
Complete reuse of Mitsubishi exclusive analog control, absolute value encoder, emergency stop, torque/speed adjustment pins in CNIF for expanding J3A advanced functions, without the need for conventional servo control.
5. CN1 power supply terminal
EX+24V (positive pole of 24V power supply) and EXGND (isolated ground) provide isolated driving power for all limit, origin, and emergency stop sensors.
J1~J4 emergency stop jumper configuration (independent for each axis)
Definition of jumper pins: 1=EXGND, 2=onboard EMG, 3=external EX-EMG
1-2 Short circuit (default normally closed): Disconnect the external emergency stop circuit, EX-EMG pin fails, and the motor can operate normally;
2-3 Short circuit: Connect the external emergency stop switch, and when the external EX-EMG is short circuited to EXGND, trigger the servo emergency stop;
If there is an open circuit between EX-EMG and EXGND, the servo lock cannot operate.

Hardware circuit and system wiring topology
The input IO (PEL/MEL/ORG/EX-EMG) adopts an optocoupler isolation circuit, with a built-in 4.7K pull-up resistor, a maximum input current of 6mA, and is compatible with NPN/PNP photoelectric switches;
Complete system link: motion control card 100 pin SCSI cable → DIN-814M-J3A terminal block → 50 pin dedicated cable → Mitsubishi J3A servo; Stepper only requires SJ needle direct drive;
The entire board signal has an independent EXGND isolation ground, separating digital/analog ground and eliminating industrial ground loop interference.
Mechanical dimensions
Standard DIN rail installation version, attached with 2D engineering drawings, overall length and width 123mm × 107mm, with reserved fixing screw holes on both sides, compatible with standard 35mm electrical cabinet DIN rail.
Horizontal comparison and differentiation of terminal boards in the same series
