Product Overview
1.1 Product positioning
MXE-200 is a Matrix series compact all aluminum fanless industrial embedded host, equipped with Intel Bay Trail Atom on-chip system; The MXE-20i additionally supports Intel IoT Gateway Suite, Wind River System, McAfee Embedded Security, and is designed for highly demanding environmental scenarios such as industrial automation, intelligent transportation, building management, and IoT edge gateways. The whole machine is passively cooled, resistant to vibration and impact, and equipped with Linghua SEMA cloud remote management tool to achieve remote monitoring and operation of equipment.

Quick installation and power on
2.1 Unboxing List
Host, DIN rail/wall bracket, fixing screws, quick guide, Linghua integrated drive DVD; If the received goods are damaged, please contact the distributor immediately to keep the packaging.
2.2 Internal module disassembly and assembly steps (mini PCIe/mSATA)
Remove the 8 fixing screws of the chassis and separate the bottom cover plate;
Insert mSATA or wireless mini PCIe module at an angled angle, press down and tighten with M2.5 screws;
Slot 2 jumper switching: Short circuit 1-2=mSATA enabled; Short circuit 2-3=enable mini PCIe wireless.
2.3 Power supply wiring specifications
DC terminal definition V+, grounding V-, Reverse connection is strictly prohibited. After wiring, tighten the terminal screws to prevent loosening.
2.4 DIN rail installation
The supporting bracket is fixed to the bottom of the chassis with M4 screws and inserted into the standard DIN rail.
2.5 Mandatory requirements for heat dissipation
The CPU and other heat sources are concentrated in the left fin area of the device, and a ventilation gap of ≥ 5cm is reserved at the top of the device. It is forbidden to block the heat dissipation fins.

The complete installation process of Windows drivers
Only compatible with Windows system. For other systems, please contact the manufacturer to obtain the driver. The installation order cannot be reversed, and the computer must be restarted after each step is completed

Appendix A: WDT Watchdog&DI/O Development API
Provide a complete set of C/C++function libraries and header files Matrix_wdt. h/Matrix_dao. h for Windows, with calling examples:
1. Watchdog WDT interface
InitWDT: Initialize watchdog (must be called first);
SetWDT: Set timeout (1-255, unit seconds/minute optional);
StartWDT: Start timing; ResetWDT: Feed the dog; StopWDT: Turn off the watchdog;
Automatic hardware reset of the whole machine for unmanned industrial equipment to prevent system crashes if the dog is not fed after timeout.
2. Isolate digital IO interface
GPIOInitialize: Initialize IO resources;
GPI-Read: Read 4 isolated input levels;
GPO_Lrite/GPO-Read: Control and read 4 isolated outputs, used for external relays and sensors.

Safety Specifications
Operation safety: Power must be cut off before disassembly, assembly, and wiring; The equipment is prohibited from entering water and in a high-temperature sealed environment; The fins of the fuselage are at high temperature, please cool down after shutdown and touch again; Built in lithium battery, there is a risk of explosion when replacing the wrong model, and scrapped batteries are recycled in compliance with regulations.
Repair scenario: Power cord damage, water ingress, falling, abnormal error reporting can only be repaired by authorized engineers from Linghua.
