Chapter 1 Product Overview (Core Hardware Specifications)
1.1 Processor and Chipset Platform
Slot: LGA775 (Socket T), supports Core 2 quad/dual core, Pentium D, Pentium Supreme, Celeron D; FSB 533/800/1066MHz;
Chipset: Intel Q965 GMCH+ICH8 Southbridge, paired with ITE IT8712F Super I/O;
Architecture advantage: PICMG1.3 adopts a full PCIe serial backplane, replacing the bottleneck of 1.0 parallel ISA while retaining traditional PCI compatibility.

1.2 Memory specifications (greatly upgraded to 935A)
4-channel 240pin DDR2 DIMM slots, dual channel architecture, maximum 8GB (935A only 2 slots 4GB), supports 533/667/800MHz non buffered non ECC memory; The dual channel requirement is that the total capacity of Group A's 2 channels equals the total capacity of Group B's 2 channels. It is recommended to use memory of the same specifications.

Onboard Intel GMA3000 integrated graphics card, 400MHz core, DirectX9 hardware acceleration, dynamic sharing of up to 256MB system graphics memory; Supports dual display output, VGA interface up to 2048 × 1536@75Hz .

Onboard 2 SATA II 3Gbps; The backplane leads out an additional 2 SATA ports, totaling 4 SATA ports;
LV version exclusive 40pin ATA10 IDE; The DV version does not have an IDE, and there is a compatibility issue when installing IDE devices on Linux. We recommend using a SATA/USB optical drive.
1.6 I/O and Expansion Bus

1.8 Packing standard accessories
Motherboard, 2 SATA cables, SATA power supply cable, COM+parallel port blocking cable, single COM ribbon cable, dual USB blocking cable, PS/2 keyboard and mouse Y cable (canceled for models ending in xx60 and above), integrated driver CD, manual;
The xx60 model cancels the rear Mini DIN PS/2. If PS/2 is needed, an external pin ribbon cable (part number 30-01019-2000) needs to be purchased separately.

2.1 Rear panel I/O (from left to right)
Optional PS/2 keyboard and mouse, RJ45 Ethernet port 1, RJ45 Ethernet port 2 (DV exclusive), 15 pin VGA, rear USB; Complete pin definitions for VGA, Ethernet port, and USB are attached.
2.2 Motherboard layout and all connectors (two layout diagrams)
Divided into eight categories: power supply, memory, fan, storage, serial and parallel ports, audio, chassis panel, and expansion pins, all with pin definitions:
Power supply: CN7 4pin ATX 12V auxiliary power supply (must be connected, otherwise it will not turn on);
Fans: FN1 (4-pin CPU fan, speed control+speed measurement), FNY1 (3-pin system fan);
Memory: J1/J2 (channel A), J3/J4 (channel B) four sets of DDR2 slots;
Storage: CN8/CN10 SATA, CN5 IDE (exclusive to LV);
Peripheral pins: COM1/COM2, CNY1 parallel port, CNY2 HD audio, CNY3 external PS/2;
Case panel CN14: power switch, restart, power light, hard disk light, case speaker 20 pin plug;

2.3 Unique Function Jumper: JP7 Clears CMOS
Default 1-2 short circuit (normal); Power off, remove the motherboard battery, short circuit 2-3 for about 10 seconds to clear BIOS password/parameters, restore to factory, restore jumper after operation, and reinstall the battery.

Chapter 3 Hardware Installation Operation Specification
3.1 General mandatory anti-static requirements
Wear a grounded anti-static wristband throughout the entire process, operate on the anti-static radio, and prohibit bare hands from touching the CPU, memory, and gold fingers; Disassembly and assembly must completely disconnect the power supply.
3.2 LGA775 CPU Installation Standard Process
Press down to unlock the pressure rod, open the cover plate, and remove the protective plastic cover;
Align the golden triangle of the CPU with the anti mistake mark at the bottom left corner of the socket, place it vertically and horizontally, and strictly prohibit pressing it;
Close the cover plate and fasten the locking rod; Violent operation is prohibited to damage the pins (loss of warranty).

3.3 CPU heatsink hard specifications (key warning)
Do not press down on the heat sink with snap fasteners, as it may cause PCB bending and circuit breakage; Only supports Linghua specified 1U/2U/3U copper bottom heat sinks, installation requirements:
Install a matching backplane on the back of the motherboard;
Apply thermal grease evenly to the CPU;
Tighten the screws diagonally and gradually to avoid damaging the CPU with single point pressure;
Connect the fan cable to FN1, hold the edges of the motherboard on both sides, and support the weight of the heat sink to prevent board deformation.

3.4 DDR2 Memory Installation
Push the buckles on both sides of the slot outward, align the memory gap with the slot protrusion, and press down vertically. The buckles will automatically lock in place; Dual channel must have two sets of memory with equal total capacity, and it is recommended to use memory of the same brand and sequence.

Chapter 4 Driver Installation Guide
Supporting integrated driver CD, supporting Windows 2000/XP, Linux reference CD instructions, divided into 4 types of drivers for step-by-step installation, requiring a restart after each installation step:
Q965 chipset driver: Run Setup to automatically load motherboard bus and PCIe underlying INF files;
GMA3000 display driver: standalone graphics card installation program, supports dual screen configuration;
82573E Gigabit Ethernet card driver: PRO2KXP installation package, dual network card automatic recognition;
HD Audio Driver: Only compatible with DB-Audio2 daughter card, BIOS needs to first enable the South Bridge HDA controller.
Chapter 5 AMIBIOS8 Complete Setting Menu (Core Debugging Chapter)
Press Del to enter BIOS during startup, supporting F1 Help, F8 Fault Default, F9 Optimal Default, F10 Save Exit, ESC Discard Modification, and eight main menus:
5.1 Main (Basic Information Page)
Display CPU model, total memory, system time and date, only for basic viewing and time modification.
5.2 Advanced Settings (up to submenus)
IDE/AHCI configuration: SATA compatible/enhanced/AHCI three modes, hard disk PIO/DMA/SMART parameters, JMicron bridge switch;
Super IO: serial address interrupt, parallel EPP/ECP mode, floppy drive switch;
Hardware Health: Real time voltage, temperature, and fan speed monitoring panel;
APM power management: CPU down conversion, hard disk sleep, scheduled boot, remote wake-up of network card, power outage recovery strategy (shutdown/power on/last state);
Event log: View/clear hardware fault POST logs;
PCIe configuration: ASPM energy-saving switch, MPS multiprocessor specification;
Serial port remote redirection: COM port console, baud rate, terminal type configuration;
