Chapter 3 Hardware Installation Practical Operation Specification
General anti-static mandatory requirements
Wear a grounded anti-static wristband throughout the entire process and operate on an anti-static countertop; CPU、 Memory and chips must not be touched with bare hands with gold fingers and pins. Disassembly and assembly must completely cut off the power supply of the entire machine.
LGA775 CPU Installation Standard Process
Press down to unlock the socket pressure rod, open the metal cover, and remove the plastic protective cover;
Align the golden triangle of the CPU with the anti mistake mark on the bottom left corner of the socket, place it vertically and gently, and strictly prohibit pressing it with force;
Close the cover plate and fasten the locking rod; Pin damage directly results in loss of warranty.
LGA775 socket unlock
CPU alignment installation
CPU heatsink hard constraint
Do not press down on the heat sink with snap fasteners, as it may cause PCB bending and circuit breakage; Only supports Linghua's designated 1U/3U/copper core dedicated heat dissipation kit:
Install a matching fixed backplane on the back of the motherboard;
Apply thermal grease evenly on the surface of the CPU;
Tighten the four corner screws diagonally and step by step to avoid damaging the CPU with single point pressure;
Connect the fan cable to CN1 and hold the weight of the heat sink on both sides of the motherboard to prevent deformation of the board.

Memory installation
The DDR2 240pin memory slot is aligned with the slot protrusion, and the two side buckles are automatically locked; Dual channel must have two identical memory capacities, and a single memory only runs on a single channel.
DDR2 memory anti error gap
Key points of power supply wiring
CN4 4pin ATX12V auxiliary power supply must be plugged in;
JPB1 front panel pins must be connected to a power switch, otherwise they cannot be powered on;
3. The chassis fan and CPU fan must be connected to the corresponding pins. Overheating will trigger hardware protection shutdown.
Chapter 4 Windows XP Driver Installation Guide
The supporting CD is divided into 5 categories of independent drivers, and after each category is installed, the system must be restarted:
945GC chipset driver: underlying bus PCIe、 South Bridge INF file, priority installation;
GMA950 display driver: supports single VGA output, adjusts video memory sharing size;
82574L Gigabit Ethernet card driver: supports WOL remote wake-up function;
PCI to ISA bridge driver: Device Manager manually loads ITE INF, a must-have for older ISA cards;
AC97 audio driver: only compatible with IP-ALCS20 daughter card, BIOS needs to turn on the audio switch in advance.
Chapter 5 Phoenix Ward BIOS Complete Setup Menu
Press Del to enter BIOS during startup, with the following shortcut keys: F5 to restore last configuration, F6 to fail safe default, F7 to perform best default, F10 to save and exit, ESC to abandon modifications. There are a total of 10 main menus:
