Hardware disassembly and maintenance operations
All disassembly and assembly operations must wear anti-static wristbands, and the entire chassis must be powered off.
Module installation to PXIe chassis Slot1 system slot
Unscrew the protective screws on the front panel and release the red lock rod;
Align the guide rail and smoothly push it into Slot1; Press down the ejection handle to ensure that the backplane connector is fully engaged;
Secure the panel with four fixed screws.
Replace 2.5-inch SATA SSD
Remove the 5 fixing screws from the hard drive bracket and remove the bracket; Remove the four fixing screws of the SSD again; Reverse the installation process.
Replace RTC button battery CR2032
Remove the controller from the chassis; Lift up the battery buckle and replace it, with the positive pole facing upwards; Reinstall the controller.
Clear CMOS and restore BIOS default
Turn off the power and remove the controller;
Turn the onboard SW1 switch to the Clear position and hold it for 5 seconds, then switch back to Normal;
Reinstall the module to power on, press Del to enter BIOS, F9 loads optimized default values, modifies system time, F10 saves and exits.
Driver installation
Windows 10/11 comes with some basic drivers; The remaining drivers can be downloaded from the official website of Linghua, and a component list needs to be installed:
Intel chipset driver, graphics card driver, Ethernet driver, RST storage driver, ME management engine driver;
GPIB driver;
PXI Trigger I/O trigger driver (providing SMB and backplane trigger bus routing API);
ADLINK PXI Platform Services (PXI Platform Services, Chassis Monitoring, etc.).
Appendix A: PXI Trigger I/O Software API Library
The header file pitrigio. h supports C/C++, VB, and Delphi; Main functions:
TRIG_Init(): Initialization triggers hardware and must be called first;
TRIG_Close(): Close to release resources, program exits call;
TRIG_SETSoftTrg(): Generate software TTL trigger level;
TRIG_Trigger_Soute (source, destination, intermediate forwarding point): Configure signal routing, source/destination can be selected: SMB external interface, software trigger, PXI_TRIG0~TRIG7 backplane 8-way trigger line; Support software triggering to first forward to a certain backplane and then output to SMB;
TRIG_Trigger_Clear(): Clear all routing configurations;
TRIG_GetSoftTrg(): Read the current software trigger level status;
TRIG_Trigger_Soute_Query(): Query the currently configured routing path;
TRIG_dDriverRevision(): Read the driver version number.
Typical use: To enable external instrument triggering access to the PXI backplane and PXI module triggering signal output to external instruments.

Normal power on using the main BIOS;
The main BIOS is damaged (upgrade failure, firmware exception) and startup fails. The system automatically switches to backup BIOS for startup;
Backup BIOS startup will give a prompt; To restore the main BIOS firmware, please contact Linghua technical support.
Safety points
The module belongs to electrostatic sensitive devices, and it is necessary to prevent static electricity during disassembly and assembly;
Before repairing, replacing SSD/battery, or cleaning CMOS, the entire machine must be powered off and the power cord of the chassis must be unplugged;
There is a risk of explosion due to incorrect replacement of RTC lithium battery models; Compliant disposal of waste batteries;
Do not block the air vent; After the equipment is running, the outer shell is at a high temperature, and touching it after cooling should prevent burns.
