Product basic information
1. Product positioning
Integrated microcomputer controller, suitable for small and medium-sized diesel generator sets, single/multi machine parallel connection, grid connected mains power, island backup and other scenarios; Hardware modularization, expanding analog signals, AVR voltage regulation, load sharing, power management, and serial GSM communication through options such as M1/M2/D1/G3/G5/J3.
2. Core standard operating mode (with 7 built-in unit operating conditions)
Core purpose of operating mode
AMF mains power failure automatic mode, mains power loss self starting unit, mains power recovery synchronous return to grid shutdown (supports two logics with and without synchronous return)
Island operation unit operates independently with load, without parallel connection of mains power
Constant output active power after fixed power grid connection
Peak shaving restricts the maximum purchased power of the mains electricity, and automatically starts the unit to share the burden when the load exceeds the standard
Load transfer gradually transfers the mains load to the unit, with short-term parallel transition
The municipal power supply sends electricity to the outside, and MPE sets a constant power to sell electricity to the grid
Multi unit power management PM (requires G5 option) with automatic start stop, load distribution, and bus connection control for multiple units

Hardware terminals, IO and sensor interfaces
1. Terminal partitioning
Multi slot terminal block for the whole machine, divided into: AC voltage/current acquisition, DC power supply, digital input, relay output, analog 4-20mA, temperature sensor, speed/voltage regulation control output, and communication port.
2. Input channel
Digital DI: divided into fixed functions (emergency stop, unit operation feedback, access locking, alarm suppression, circuit breaker position) and custom DI (remote start stop, mode switching, water temperature and oil pressure switch, etc.), up to 30+channels, supporting normally open/normally closed configuration
Simulate 4-20mA: multiple channels including oil pressure, water temperature, active bus power, external power setting, load shedding signal, etc
Temperature sensors: PT100 thermistor, VDO resistance sensor (three types of standard curves for oil pressure, water temperature, and oil level, supporting 8-point custom curves)
Speed acquisition: magnetic pickup speed probe, used for overspeed, idle, and synchronous speed judgment

Display panel and human-machine menu system
1. Panel hardware
4-line x 20 character LCD display screen, multifunctional physical buttons (START/STOP/GB/MB/MODE/JUMP/LOG/INFO); 10 status LEDs (power, self-test, running, circuit breaker, alarm, lock, etc.).
2. Three level menu system
View browsing menu (no password): 15 sets of custom measurement screens, real-time display of voltage, current, power, frequency, oil temperature, water temperature, and running time
Setup settings menu (graded password protection): Protect, Control IO、 The four major submenus of the system
Service menu (maintenance specific): real-time DI/DO status, remaining alarm delay, miscellaneous operating conditions
3. Third level password permission (factory default)
Customer 2000, Service 2001, Administrator 2002; Open parameter modification permissions in a hierarchical manner, with the ability to customize password changes; After DI access is locked, the panel buttons are locked and only data viewing is allowed.
4. Storage records
Event log: up to 150 timestamp events (alarm, closing, start stop, parameter modification), not lost during power outage; The running hours, number of circuit breaker operations, number of startup attempts, and energy accumulation counter support offset reset.

Complete start stop sequence: pre lubrication, start preparation, multiple start attempts, disengagement speed determination, cooling shutdown, emergency stop logic; Distinguish between two types of shutdown execution circuits: RUN coil and STOP coil
Circuit breaker spring loading delay: wait for the spring energy storage to be completed before closing to avoid mechanism failure
Multi level alarm suppression logic
Global alarm suppression DI: Shutdown shielding for low oil pressure and other shutdown alarms
RUN mode suppression: Only when the unit is running, the water temperature and oil pressure protection will be activated
Parallel mode suppression: only apply voltage and frequency abnormal protection after grid connection
Custom channel suppression: PC software separately blocks specified sensor alarms
Short time parallel connection: In AMF/load transfer mode, the maximum overlap time between the mains power and the unit's double closing is limited to meet the grid specifications
Timed start stop: supports multiple sets of automatic start stop on a weekly basis
Unit load reduction function: Automatic linear reduction of rated output power due to high water temperature/external 4-20mA signal, divided into proportional/inverse characteristic curves, setting the starting point, slope, and minimum power limit for load reduction
Idle operation: Dedicated for low-temperature environments, start stop low-speed preheating, equipped with an idle delay timer to protect the turbocharger
Master clock compensation: compensates for accumulated frequency cycle errors and adapts to timing devices
Battery testing: semi-automatic testing of DC supply voltage to determine battery degradation

Two output modes
Simulate 4-20mA continuous output: smooth adjustment;
Relay pulse output: divided into three sections: dead zone, dynamic pulse, and full amplitude fixed output. The pulse period and minimum conduction time can be set to avoid frequent actions of the governor that may damage the contacts
Power ramp up and down: After grid connection, the load slowly climbs/unloads to prevent impact on the power grid, and a climbing delay inflection point can be set
Simultaneous grid connected system
Provide two sets of synchronization algorithms, supporting various special closing logics
1. Dynamic synchronization (default recommendation)
Control the unit slightly higher than the bus slip frequency (positive slip), predict the delay of circuit breaker closing, output the closing pulse in advance, and connect to the grid without reverse power impact; Maximum/minimum slip, voltage difference, and switch action delay can be set.
2. Static synchronization
Extremely small slip, phase closed-loop adjustment, suitable for multi unit non impact parallel operation; Equipped with a phase PI adjustment loop, the phase allowance window can be set.
3. Featured closing scheme: Close before excitation
Close the circuit breaker first at low speed of the unit, then gradually build voltage, adapt to the soft start scenario of the transformer, and set the closing speed and excitation start delay.
4. Independent synchronous relay option: The synchronous and closing contacts are separated to meet the safety design of the secondary circuit of the switchgear.
5. Black start synchronization: When there is no power on the busbar, the direct closing condition is set.
Standardized operation process for parameter setting
Search for the corresponding parameter menu number through the directory table;
The JUMP shortcut key on the panel provides direct access to the menu, eliminating the need to flip through pages layer by layer;
Enter the corresponding level password to unlock and modify permissions;
Adjust values, select delay/output relays, enable/disable protection, select fault level;
Save parameters; Support batch import and export of all configurations for PC software.
Complete parameter library
Parameters are divided into categories, with each menu containing: set value, delay, associated relay output, enable switch, fault level, upper and lower limits, factory default values. Categories include:
Protection parameters: reverse power, overcurrent 1/2, overspeed 1/2, various analog disconnection alarms, water temperature, oil pressure, and oil level thresholds
Synchronous control parameters: dynamic/static synchronous slip, voltage difference, closing window, spring timing
PI regulation parameters: KP/KI, slope rate, dead zone
Digital input configuration: each DI function, alarm delay, normally open and normally closed, fault level
Analog input: 4-20mA/PT100/VDO full range alarm points
Relay/transistor output configuration: alarm delay, continuous output mode
System Overview: Rated Voltage/Frequency/Power, Transformer Ratio, Model, System Phase System (Single/Minute/Three Phase)
