Product foundation and core positioning

Product identity: XDi series is a flexible display indicator developed by DEIF, focusing on "subverting traditional bridge instruments", replacing mechanical pointers and scales with virtual displays, and solving problems such as mechanical limitations, fixed layout, and cumbersome installation of traditional instruments.

Core technology: Based on patented X-coil or display technology, compatible with analog signals, digital signals, and CAN bus, adapting to the transformation needs of ships from traditional analog instruments to CANbus based systems.

Panel opening: Supports 96/144/192 DIN standard opening, compatible with mainstream marine instrument installation dimensions;

Protection level: optional IP66 protection, suitable for harsh marine environments;

Equipped with dual CAN buses as standard, supporting XDi net protocol (CANopen simplified protocol) to achieve data sharing and group control between devices;

XDi-N supports NMEA0183 input/output, compatible with over 80 data types, and supports data routing and offset/average calculation.

Dimming control: supports multiple dimming methods such as front buttons, external buttons, analog signals, CAN bus, etc., and can group control the brightness of multiple indicators;

Data processing: XDi-N supports true wind data calculation, magnetic heading/true heading conversion, and data priority fallback (2-3 inputs);

Quick update: Download and update standard or customized libraries for free through the back USB interface, without the need to return to the factory.


Expansion modules and accessories

The XDi series supports expanding functions through extension modules, and can connect up to 1 (XDi 96) or 2 (XDi 144/192) extension modules. The core modules are shown in the table below:
