REXROTH IndraDyn S MSK Synchronous Motors

The REXROTH IndraDyn S MSK series synchronous servo motor is a high-performance motor that covers 12 machine base numbers from MSK030 to MSK133 and 4 machine base lengths from B to E. It has a continuous torque of 0.4~293 Nm, a maximum speed of 2000~9000 min ⁻¹, a protection level of IP65, an insulation level of F (155 ℃), and comes standard with Hiperface/EnDat2.1 encoder (single/multi turn optional). It can be configured with manual brake, fan unit, liquid cooling, etc. It is suitable for industrial scenarios such as machine tools, printing, and robots, and must comply with standards such as EN 60034. Only professional personnel are allowed to install and debug it.

Installation and operation specifications

Installation requirements

Installation form: Supports B5 flange installation (IM B5) and foot mount installation, allowing for multiple installation positions (V1/V3, etc.).

Mechanical fixation: Use installation screws that meet the specifications and match the torque according to the model (such as M4 screws for MSK030, with a torque of 3.1Nm).

Axial load limit: The maximum radial load is 500-5000N, and the axial load is 0.34-0.59 times the radial load. Overloading should be avoided.

Wiring specifications

Protective grounding: The cross-section of the protective conductor (PE) must meet the requirements, and when the phase line is ≤ 16mm ², the PE cross-section should be consistent with the phase line; When the area is 25-50mm ², the PE is 25mm ²; >At 50mm ², PE is half of the phase line.

Cable selection: Power cable section ≥ 0.75mm ², encoder cable needs to be shielded and wired separately from power cable (spacing ≥ 10cm).

Explosion proof model requirements: Explosion proof models (NSNN/RSNN) require the use of explosion-proof accessories, and non explosion proof cables and connectors are prohibited.

Debugging and maintenance

Debugging prerequisite: Only personnel with professional qualifications are allowed to operate, and wiring, parameter configuration, and safety devices need to be checked before starting.

Daily maintenance: Regularly clean the surface of the motor with a dry cloth and remove dust from the heat dissipation area; Bearings are maintenance free and do not require the addition of lubricating grease.

Battery replacement: The multi turn encoder battery needs to be replaced when the device is loaded and the control voltage is turned on to avoid absolute position loss. The battery life is about 10 years.

Fault handling: When abnormal vibration or high temperature occurs, the machine should be stopped for inspection and operation with faults is prohibited.
