Technical Parameters

Power input: usually powered by 24V DC power supply, the permissible voltage fluctuation range is generally around ±10%, with a certain degree of power supply adaptability, can work stably under the common power supply fluctuation environment in the industrial field.

Number of input and output points: It has multiple digital input and output points and analogue input and output points, the number of digital input and output points is generally around 16 points, and the number of analogue input and output points is usually between 4 and 8 roads, which can meet the signal acquisition and control requirements of industrial control systems of different scales.

Signal type: digital input signal is generally DC24V level signal, digital output signal can be relay output, transistor output, etc., which can drive different types of loads; analogue input signal can receive 0-20mA, 4-20mA current signal or 0-10V, -10V-+10V voltage signal, analogue output signal is generally 0mA to 20mA, 4mA to 20mA current signal or 0-20mA current signal. The analogue output signals are generally 0mA to 20mA, 4mA to 20mA current signals or 0V to 10V voltage signals.

Functional Characteristics

Signal Acquisition and Processing: It can acquire various sensor signals from industrial sites, such as temperature, pressure, flow, liquid level and other sensor signals, and process the acquired signals by filtering, amplification, linearisation, etc., so as to improve the quality and accuracy of the signals and provide reliable input data for the control system.

Control function: According to the preset control logic and algorithm, it can precisely control the actuators on the industrial site through the output control signals, such as starting and stopping the control motor, speed adjustment, opening control of the valve, power adjustment of the heating device, etc., so as to realise the precise control of various parameters in the production process.

Communication function: It supports various communication protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, HART, etc. Through communication interfaces such as RS485, RS232, Ethernet, etc., it can conveniently communicate and interact with other devices, such as connecting with PLC, human-machine interface, and upper computer monitoring system, etc., so as to realise system integration and remote monitoring.

Application Scenarios

Manufacturing automated production line: in automated production lines of automobile manufacturing, machining, electronic equipment production and other industries, it is used for monitoring the running status of production equipment, controlling parameters in the production process and working with other automated equipment to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the production line and the consistency of product quality.

Process industrial automation: In the process industrial fields of chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, electric power, etc., it can be used for monitoring and controlling various physical and chemical quantities in the production process, such as temperature, pressure and material flow control of chemical reactor, oil quality monitoring and flow control of oil refinery, temperature control of heating furnace and parameter control of rolling equipment in metallurgical enterprises.

Intelligent building control system: In the automation system of buildings, such as air-conditioning system, lighting system, water supply and drainage system, etc., it realises the monitoring and control of environmental parameters and equipment operation status, improves the comfort of the building and the efficiency of energy use, and reduces the operation cost.

• S800 I/O, a distributed modular I/O system for communication via ModuleBus  and PROFIBUS DP. 

• S900 I/O, a remote I/O system (for hazardous areas) that can be connected to  PLCs via PROFIBUS DP. 

• S200 I/O and S200L I/O, two compatible, modular I/O systems. S200 I/O  modules can be connected via CI856 or PROFIBUS DP to PLCs. • S100 I/O, a rack-based I/O system that can be connected to PLC using the  CI856 interface module. 

• Satt I/O, makes it possible to use Satt Rack I/O (an older Satt I/O system)  connected to PLC using the CI865 communication interface.
