Basic Information

Appearance & Dimensions: Measuring approximately 20.3cm x 2.5cm x 12.7cm, it is compact and weighs approximately 0.2kg, making it easy to install and use in tight spaces.

Origin and Warranty: Originally from Sweden, normally supplied with a 12 month warranty.

Electrical Characteristics

Power Requirements: Rated input voltage is generally 28V DC, a wide range of operating voltage, can be adapted to a certain extent to the fluctuation of the power supply voltage, to ensure stable operation of the module.

Signal processing: digital and analogue signal processing, digital signal input and output with good anti-interference ability and fast response speed, analogue signal input and output with high precision and good resolution, to meet the needs of industrial control of a variety of signal processing.

Functional characteristics

Control function: It can achieve precise control of equipment and processes in industrial production, such as motor start/stop, speed adjustment, valve opening control, temperature, pressure and other parameters adjustment, etc. Through internal control logic and algorithms, it analyses and processes the input signals and outputs the corresponding control signals, so as to achieve automated production and process control.

Communication function: It supports a variety of communication protocols, such as Profibus, Modbus, industrial Ethernet, etc., which can be easily networked and communicated with other devices to achieve real-time transmission and sharing of data, facilitating data exchange and collaborative work with other devices as a node in the industrial automation network, and improving the level of automation and production efficiency of the whole system.

Diagnostic and monitoring function: Built-in diagnostic function, it can monitor its own working status and operating parameters in real time, such as power supply voltage, working temperature, communication status, etc., and can send this information to the host computer or other monitoring equipment through the communication interface, and when there is a malfunction or anomalies, it can send out an alarm signal in time, which is convenient for the maintenance personnel to locate and remove the malfunctions quickly.

Application Fields

Power industry: used in power plants, substations and other places in the automation control system, can achieve the monitoring and management of generator sets, substation equipment, to ensure the stable supply of electricity and safe operation.

Chemical industry: It is widely used in chemical production process, such as temperature and pressure control of chemical reactor, flow control of material conveying, automatic operation of chemical equipment, etc., which helps to improve the production efficiency and product quality, and ensure the safety of production process.

The transfer sequence of OTM_C21D can be summarized in following steps: 

• An anomaly occurs on the Line 1 (LN1) 

• Generator start, immediately start generator in case of black-out, phase-loss, overvoltage or undervoltage (If Generator mode is selected) 

• The Line 2 start the normal functioning,  transfer delay Ts 

• Change-over switch (Switch I) to the position 0 

• Change-over switch (Switch II) to the  position II

And the return sequence can be summarized in  the following steps: 

• The Line 1 will start the normal functioning 

• Change-over switch stays in position II 

• An anomaly occurs on the Line 2 (LN2) 

• Change-over switch stays in position II 

• Change-over switch can be transferred  manually back to position I
